Privacy

What we store

• A display name you choose and a random identifier, linked to your browser by a signed, http-only cookie (pl_id). We do not ask for an email address, password or real name. Please use a nickname.
• Careers you play online: the starting setup, your decisions and the computed result. Ranked and published careers are public at their career page, with your display name.
• Rate-limit counters keyed by a hash of your IP address with a daily salt. The IP address itself is not stored.
• Usage events (for example "career started") with a random per-tab session id, used to improve the game. They are not linked to your name.

On your device

Your career in progress, finished careers and settings are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them and your identity cookie.
